I’ve always been surrounded by animals, growing up on my family’s generational cattle farm in Northeast Ohio. From an early age, I spent my days gentling, training, and showing cows and horses—developing a deep appreciation for the bond between humans and animals.

While studying communications at Kent State University, I discovered the world of dog sports, and with it, a whole new passion for capturing the energy, personality, and heart of dogs through photography. After working as a photographer in the equestrian industry, I realized my true calling was in celebrating the dogs that mean everything to their people.

Now based in dog-crazy Denver, Colorado, I spend my time photographing incredible dogs, hiking with my own pups, enjoying coffee shop hangs (ideally with a dog by my side), and embracing the joy that comes with being part of such a vibrant dog-loving community.

Toph is none other than our “rat dog.” Shania adopted her from the Cuyahoga Animal Shelter in August of 2021 and over the months grew to absolutely adore this little dog.

Toph is silly, crazy and so much fun. She has moved 8 times with Shania and is always up for shenanigans so long as there’s food involved! She’s not a fan of large groups or loads of commotion but she loves her walks in Commons Park and modeling for the camera.

Porsche is our latest family addition and is a dream come true. Shania has been dreaming of her own dog to show in conformation and compete with in sports since she fell in love with the dog fancier community. Porsche has been an awesome addition to the family, she is super cuddly and loves attention. Not much phases her either. She has completed her UKC Champion title, AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Fetch Novice, and her AKC BCAT title. She hopes to get her Rally title or UKC Grand Championship next!
